Q:  How do I install Word Menu on Windows Vista or Windows 7?

The auto-run CD menu does not work under Windows Vista. In order to install the program, you will need to use the downloadable version.

If you have installed from a CD, uninstall that version via Start > Control Panel > Program and Features > Uninstall a Program (Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs on Windows XP) and then proceed with the steps below:

  1. Click Here to download the installer for Word Menu.
  2. When asked to Run/Open or Save, choose Run (or Open).
  3. When the installer is done downloading, it should automatically start the installation.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps.
  5. After installation, right click on the Word Menu shortcut icon on the Desktop.
  6. Click on Run as admin.
  7. Click on Allow.

The program should open normally.  You only have to run as admin once.
