It appears that a few anti-virus programs, usually Kaspersky, ZoneAlarm (which uses the Kaspersky engine) and AVG, are flagging parts of Screenwriter as a Trojan or virus. The Trojan that is found is usually called "IRC/BackDoor.SdBot4.QPE" or "Backdoor.Win32.SdBot", but this can vary. Please be assured that the program did not ship or download with any Trojans or viruses.
It is a false positive.
We received confirmation of this from AVG and Kaspersky/ZoneAlarm. Please update your anti-virus as soon as possible, as this problem has been fixed in the latest virus definitions update database.
Try using the download of your version to install the program. If you still get the same message, tell your anti-virus program to "Ignore" or "Take no Action." If it does not allow you to proceed further, please temporarily disable your anti-virus during the Screenwriter installation. (See your anti-virus' Help file for information on how to do that.)
