This error only happens when running on Windows Vista and the program has not been configured to run as administrator.

1. Right click on the Movie Magic Screenwriter icon on the Desktop and choose Properties.
2. Click on the Compatibility tab.
3. In the Privilege Level section, check the box labeled *Run this program as an Administrator.
4. Click OK.

*If, in step 3, "Run this program as an Administrator" is grayed out (unavailable), these steps are unnecessary.

You should now be able to validate the program online.
