Q:  How do I install Writer's DreamKit on Snow Leopard (Mac OS 10.6)?

When you try to launch the program, you may get a message about "missing extensions".

A newer version of Writer's DreamKit needs to be installed in order to be able to run on Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) or OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard).

  1. Download the updated installer for Writer's DreamKit using the download link below.
  2. Once it is downloaded, double click on "Install Writer's DreamKit" and follow the on-screen steps.

NOTE: If you don't see the installer icon, open your Downloads folder and double click on "WritersDreamKit.dmg".

  3. After installing the program, double click the Dramatica Pro icon inside the /Applications/Writer's DreamKit 4.1 folder and click Activate (follow the on-screen steps).

ROSETTA

You may be prompted by your Mac OS to install Rosetta.  This is required for the program to run properly and should install automatically.
