To start a New Act:
Type "newact" at the beginning of any blank element. Screenwriter inserts it as ACT #, where # is the next consecutive Act Number and formats it automatically. (A forced page break does not get entered.)
Alternatively, press RETURN at the beginning of a blank Action element, then type “c” for Start New Act. A forced page break is entered, followed by the appropriate new Act Break element.
