To start a New Scene:
Type "newscene" at the beginning of any blank element. Screenwriter inserts it as SCENE #, where # is the new Scene Number, and formats it automatically. (A forced page does not get entered.)
Alternatively, press RETURN in a blank Action element. Type “r” or select Start New Scene/Same Act.
Or, press RETURN while in an Act Break and Screenwriter puts in the appropriate new Scene Label for you. To use this feature, Automatically put in Scene Label after Act Break must be checked under Format > Elements Styles, in the Scene Labels section.
