With the cursor at the end of a Character Name element, press DELETE key to delete the Character Extension.
Or, with the cursor anywhere in a Character Name element, press Shift+9 (left parenthesis). A Character Extension Pop-up List displays. Type “e” for No Extension.
The cursor moves to the Dialogue element following the Character Name.
