Foreign Dictionaries
These dictionaries can be used to spellcheck your document.  The following languages are included:  Dutch, Danish, UK English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Spanish and Swedish.
Foreign Dictionaries for Windows Instructions
Foreign Dictionaries for Screenwriter 2000 (4.x) Windows

To install the dictionaries:
  1. Click the Foreign Dictionaries for Windows link above.
  2. If prompted to Run/Open or Save, choose Open. Once the file is finish downloading, the installation will begin automatically.
  3. Click Unzip to extract the spellcheck files to C:\Program Files\Movie Magic Screenwriter folder. NOTE: Some versions of Screenwriter 2000 (4.x) are installed in C:\Movie Magic Screenwriter. Make sure you are unzipping the files to the correct folder.
  4. Once it is done, click OK.
  5. Click Close.
To select a language in Screenwriter:
  1. ln Screenwriter, click Spell > Select Language.
  2. Choose the appropriate language and click OK. Screenwriter will now spell check in that language.

    If it says the language is not installed, the spellcheck files were not unzipped to the correct folder, please try installing again.

Foreign Dictionaries for Screenwriter 2000 (4.x) Macintosh

To install the dictionaries:
  1. Click the Foreign Dictionaries for Mac link above.
  2. The Foreign_Dictionaries_MAC.dmg file will start to download to the desktop (or wherever your browser is set to download files).
  3. Once the file is done downloading, it should automatically mount the volume and open it up. If not, double click the Foreign Dictionaries (all) volume on the desktop to open it.
  4. Open the Macintosh HD:Applications:Movie Magic Screenwriter folder as well. You should now have two windows open on the screen.
  5. Drag all the dictionary (.SUP and .LEX) files from the Foreign Dictionaries (all) window into the Movie Magic Screenwriter window.
To select a language in Screenwriter:
  1. ln Screenwriter, click Tools > Select Language.
  2. Choose the appropriate language and click OK. Screenwriter will now spell check in that language.
    If it says the language is not installed, the spellcheck files were not unzipped to the correct folder, please try installing again.
